Input Box Tool

Activate the tool, then click or tap the Graphics View to insert an input box, that allows you to modify the value of an existing object.

In the appearing dialog window enter a caption in the input box on top (LaTeX format can be used for captions by enclosing the LaTeX string in $ symbols), then select the linked object from the displayed drop-down list.
